Introduction
The University of Sumatera Utara (USU) as one of the biggest universities and its EE as one of the oldest Electrical Engineering Departments in Indonesia, eager to provide international forum for engineers, academicians, and scientists around the world to expose their research, ideas and innovations in the field of Electrical, Telecommunication and Computer Engineering.
Electrical Engineering is a field of engineering which includes the study of electricity, electronic and electromagnetism. This field has subdivided into a wide range of sub fields including electronics, digital computers, power engineering, telecommunication, control systems, RF engineering, signal processing, instrumentation and microelectronics. The subject of electronic engineering is often treated as its own subfield but it intersects with all the other subfields, including the power electronics of power engineering.
Electrical engineers work in a very wide range of industries and the skills required are likewise variable. They design, build and maintain electrical control systems, machinery and equipment. This field strives to foster collaborations across industry and academia thus evaluating the emerging technologies in the field across the world. Thus, an electrical engineering conference will gather leading academicians, scientists, researchers, electrical engineers and various industry professionals from around the world to network and have scientific discussion on the latest advancements in electrical engineering field. These international conferences include practical exposure of in the form of workshop, symposia, poster presentations, exhibition as well as scientific communications, plenary sessions and renowned speeches with editorial board members underpinning the upcoming challenges to be faced and their parallel solutions.
General Information
The International Conference on Electrical, Telecommunication and Computer Engineering (ELTICOM) 2015 is the first global conference program will be held in the exotic city of Medan provides opportunities for the exploration of problems and issues of concern to engineers and scientists. The format of the conference provides morning and late afternoon or evening sessions in which major presentations are made. In the morning, the plenary sessions will show several keynote speakers, expert in their fields, present their invited papers and findings. Poster sessions will be scheduled for evening discussion as well. This format is designed to enhance rapport among participants and promote dialogue on the development of the meeting. We believe the conferences have been instrumental in generating ideas and disseminating information to a greater extent than is possible through more conventional forums.
The conference setting is to give an opportunities for the researchers, professors, profesional engineers, and students to discusses on electrical, telecommunication and computer engineering latest developments among them. They have the same basic scientific principles and share the common challenges in these fields of knowledge. All attendees have a great opportunities to disseminate the results of their work and get feedbacks from others for improvement.
A portion of the oral and poster presentations are reserved for junior researchers to maintain the sustainability and provide the junior researchers to meet with the experts.
