THE 8TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ELECTRICAL, TELECOMMUNICATION AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING 2024

The International Conference on Electrical, Telecommunication, and Computer Engineering (ELTICOM) is an established forum for presenting, discussing, and demonstrating current research on electrical, telecommunication and computer engineering. Each year the conference brings together scholars recognized for their work’s innovative nature, their contributions to the rigor of theory and relevance of practice, their focus on important and timely topics, and the quality of their writing.
The 8th International Conference on Electrical, Telecommunication and Computer Engineering 2024 (ELTICOM 2024) will take place on 24 - 25 October 2024 in Medan, Indonesia. The special focus is Technology Innovation for Growth Organization Research. The conference’s main organizer is the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Sumatera Utara, Indonesia.

ELTICOM is supported by CYCU, Mapúa University, and Kansai University. Previous ELTICOM conferences were held in Medan, Indonesia in 2015, and CYCU, Taiwan in 2016. ELTICOM conferences in 2019 and 2020 have been held in Medan again with technical sponsorship by the IEEE. Furthermore, ELTICOM 2021 will be held again by the Department of Electrical Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara. The ELTICOM 2021 is the forum for engineers, academicians, and scientists around the world to expose their research, ideas and innovations. The ELTICOM 2021 will feature keynote speakers and oral presentations with the theme “Humanitarian Technology: Opportunities and Challenges in the Post-Pandemic World”.

This 3rd ELTICOM is hosted by Universias Sumatera Utara (USU) and supported by Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) (Taiwan), Mapúa (Philippines), and Kansai University (Japan). Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Sumatera Utara humbly proposed the International Conference on Electrical, Telecommunication and Computer Engineering 2015 (ELTICOM 2015) to be held in Medan, North Sumatera, Indonesia. Indonesia has so much to offer, from its strategic geographical location, its tropical weather to the ever hospitable and rich in culture Indonesians, in providing forums for engineers, academicians, and scientists around the world to expose their research, ideas and innovations. By having ELTICOM 2015 in the city of Medan, the capital of North Sumatera Province, this will also encourage participation from countries that are members of ASEAN communities.

Hosting ELTICOM 2015 is also inline with the increasing visibility and importance of technology investment in Indonesia, which is critical to the country’s economy empowerment. It provides a unique forum to discuss practical approaches and state of the art findings pertinent to applied electrical and telecommunication engineering and computing technologies. We firmly believe that the ELTICOM 2015 will be a resounding success with the support from the Indonesian government, agencies and companies.
