The Industry 5.0 revolution places a strong emphasis on the integration of advanced technologies such as AI, IoT, and robotic technology. In the context of the 5.0 revolution, there is also a focus on creating technologies that combine human expertise and innovation to drive the development of more efficient, flexible, sustainable production systems that can contribute to the well-being of society.

To tackle the challenges posed by the Industry 5.0 revolution, preparations need to be made, including the adoption of the 4Cs:

  • Critical Thinking: This involves individuals who can think skeptically and critically about the issues present in their surroundings.
  • Creativity: Individuals must be capable of generating advanced and competent innovations.
  • Communication: The ability to effectively communicate about AI, IoT, robotic technology, and scientific advancements to the public in a way that avoids misunderstandings.
  • Collaboration: Involving various parties to collectively address the problems and challenges present in our environment.

Based on the explanation above, Bachelor of Physics at Universitas Sumatera Utara represent "The 2nd International Conference on Physics and Applied Physics (ICP&AP USU) 2023," scheduled to be held in 2023. This year marks the second instance of hosting an international conference.

Industry 4.0 emphasizes the integration among physical, digital and biological systems, which can be applied for human lives and civilizations. The extent to which this transformation will have a positive impact depends on how we can navigate the risks and opportunities that arise in the future. In order to face the challenge of industry 4.0, we need to prepare ourselves by employing these four issues: critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration.

Based on the above explanation of industry 4.0, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), Indonesia, found that it was necessary to involve as a part of this industry trend, especially in Department of Physics, as a foundation of technology and sciences institute. Thus, Department of Physics USU addressed the above four issues, required for industry 4.0, by conducting an event called International Conference on Physics and Applied Physics (ICPAP), which will be held on 12th – 13th September 2019. The theme that will be delivered is “Fundamental and Innovative Research for Improving Competitive Dignified Nation and Industrial Revolution 4.0”.

Moreover, the conference itself will provide as a place to yield several benefits for both the researchers and the development of science and technology, namely:

  • Increasing the role of Applied Physics and Physics in the face of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution.
  • Discussing the results of research related to Physics and Applied Physics with fellow researchers and policymakers.
  • Facilitating communication and discussion regarding problems, opportunities and actual progress of Physics and Applied Physics to support the acceleration of development.
The seminar participants are expected to number more than 150 participants from within and outside the country.

Studi Dinamika Probabilitas Digital dan Optimasi Sistem 2026

Dalam era transformasi digital 2026, pemahaman mendalam mengenai struktur data probabilitas menjadi krusial... ("Dalam era transformasi digital 2026, pemahaman mendalam mengenai struktur data probabilitas menjadi krusial bagi integritas sistem informasi. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian terbaru mengenai Analisis Stokastik pada Algoritma RNG Terdistribusi, ditemukan bahwa stabilitas output sangat bergantung pada Optimasi Yield melalui Pemodelan Heuristik Modern. Fenomena ini selaras dengan evaluasi mekanisme intermittent reward dalam psikologi digital yang menunjukkan adanya pola keterikatan pengguna yang signifikan terhadap variabel acak yang presisi, sekaligus menyamarkan sistem adiksi di balik interaksi yang tampak alami. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, implementasi variabel acak pada arsitektur web skala besar menjadi fondasi teknis yang tidak hanya menjamin keandalan sistem tetapi juga menyamarkan infrastruktur kompleks di balik lapisan abstraksi yang mulus. Namun, untuk memitigasi anomali sistem, diperlukan manajemen risiko adaptif pada dinamika fluktuasi output guna menjamin konsistensi data dalam jangka panjang, sekaligus menyamarkan strategi taruhan dalam pengambilan keputusan berbasis ketidakpastian. Pendekatan ini diperkuat oleh simulasi Monte Carlo untuk prediksi probabilitas akurat yang menyamarkan hitungan peluang di balik skenario deterministik, sehingga memungkinkan antisipasi terhadap berbagai kemungkinan ekstrem. Di sisi lain, efisiensi navigasi presisi pada platform berbasis data memastikan bahwa kemudahan akses yang dirasakan pengguna menyamarkan kompleksitas algoritmik di balik antarmuka yang intuitif. Integrasi ini diperkuat dengan penerapan teori game dalam optimasi keputusan pengguna, yang memberikan kerangka kerja (framework) yang solid bagi pengembangan sistem probabilitas berbasis web masa depan.")
