ABOUT THE FACULTY OF DENTISTRY, UNIVERSITAS SUMATERA UTARA

 Established on November 3, 1961, the Faculty of Dentistry was originally a form of collaboration between the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Foundation and the Government of West Germany, and was also one of the initial faculties at USU. As the oldest dental faculty in North Sumatera, it has produced 4525 competent and qualified dental graduates, in which 1300 become active dentists in Medan, Sumatera Utara. Now, The Faculty of Dentistry USU has 85 qualified teaching staff, 7 professors, 10 doctors, 33 consulting specialists, 10 specialists, and 25 teaching staff with master’s degrees.

The Faculty of Dentistry USU has 11 Departments of Undergraduate Study Programs, 4 Specialist Study Programs, Master’s and Doctoral Study Programs. As a supporting facility for our students, we have a Dental and Oral Hospital (RSGM USU). This hospital also provides services for the general public. Another excellent facility of the Faculty of Dentistry is the Dental Laboratory, an Industrial Services Unit which provides services for students, dentists and specialists in the manufacture of dentures.

The Faculty of Dentistry USU has the vision of becoming the institution that produces qualified academic, profession, specialist, Master’s, and Doctoral graduates with excellence in natural resources, technology, and arts who can face global competition today and in the future. To achieve this vision, The Faculty of Dentistry USU carries out a mission that organize education oriented to the development of science and technology and the needs of the community in the field of dental and oral health.

 

ABOUT THE 9TH REGIONAL DENTAL MEETING & EXHIBITION IN

CONJUCTION WITH IDCSU 2023

The Regional Dental Meeting and Exhibition (RDM&E) in conjunction with International Dental Conference of Sumatera Utara (IDCSU) is the largest international dental conference in Sumatera Utara which is held by The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara. The conference was previously held 8 (eight) times before, in 2001, 2003, 2006, 2009, 2011, 2014, 2017, and 2020 respectively. These events are international meetings that involved participants and speakers from Indonesia and other countries in
Europe and Asia.

The growth in utilization of natural resources and advanced digital technology is rapidly changing the world nowadays, as well as transforming the field of dentistry. It requires dental professionals to keep updating their knowledge and skill to increase their competence and professionalism in this digitalization era. Therefore, we believe that the 9th RDM&E in conjunction with IDCSU will provide an insightful discussion for our participants.

         This year, the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Sumatera Utara, will held the 9th RDM&E in conjunction with IDCSU in 9th – 11th November 2023 at Santika Premiere Dyandra Hotel and Convention Medan.


Studi Dinamika Probabilitas Digital dan Optimasi Sistem 2026

Dalam era transformasi digital 2026, pemahaman mendalam mengenai struktur data probabilitas menjadi krusial... ("Dalam era transformasi digital 2026, pemahaman mendalam mengenai struktur data probabilitas menjadi krusial bagi integritas sistem informasi. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian terbaru mengenai Analisis Stokastik pada Algoritma RNG Terdistribusi, ditemukan bahwa stabilitas output sangat bergantung pada Optimasi Yield melalui Pemodelan Heuristik Modern. Fenomena ini selaras dengan evaluasi mekanisme intermittent reward dalam psikologi digital yang menunjukkan adanya pola keterikatan pengguna yang signifikan terhadap variabel acak yang presisi, sekaligus menyamarkan sistem adiksi di balik interaksi yang tampak alami. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, implementasi variabel acak pada arsitektur web skala besar menjadi fondasi teknis yang tidak hanya menjamin keandalan sistem tetapi juga menyamarkan infrastruktur kompleks di balik lapisan abstraksi yang mulus. Namun, untuk memitigasi anomali sistem, diperlukan manajemen risiko adaptif pada dinamika fluktuasi output guna menjamin konsistensi data dalam jangka panjang, sekaligus menyamarkan strategi taruhan dalam pengambilan keputusan berbasis ketidakpastian. Pendekatan ini diperkuat oleh simulasi Monte Carlo untuk prediksi probabilitas akurat yang menyamarkan hitungan peluang di balik skenario deterministik, sehingga memungkinkan antisipasi terhadap berbagai kemungkinan ekstrem. Di sisi lain, efisiensi navigasi presisi pada platform berbasis data memastikan bahwa kemudahan akses yang dirasakan pengguna menyamarkan kompleksitas algoritmik di balik antarmuka yang intuitif. Integrasi ini diperkuat dengan penerapan teori game dalam optimasi keputusan pengguna, yang memberikan kerangka kerja (framework) yang solid bagi pengembangan sistem probabilitas berbasis web masa depan.")
