Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

How to Apply

  • Participants/Presenters fill out form and download paper writing guides on http://gg.gg//iicola
  • Participants/Presenters send the form and abstract to iicola.usu@gmail.com before the abstract submission deadline.
  • Announcement of accepted abstracts will be sent via email to registrants.
  • Send the full paper & scan of bank transfer slip to iicola.usu@gmail.com before the deadline.

Submission Guidelines of Abstract

  1. Abstract must be free from grammatical, spelling and punctuation errors.
  2. Typed, 12 pt, Times New Roman, Margin: 2.5 cm single space.
  3. Abstract limit 150-250 words.
  4. Reference in APA style. A separate cover page should include title of the paper, affiliations, author’s name, contact number and email, Microsoft word format, paper size A4. The abstract should be organized according to: Paper title, author address and the corresponding author,  objective, methodology, and preliminary findings.

 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. All URL addresses in the text (e.g., http://pkp.sfu.ca) are activated and ready to click.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Conference.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed track of the conference, authors' names are removed from submission, with "Author" and year used in the bibliography and footnotes, instead of authors' name, paper title, etc.
  7. If submitting to peer review, all Microsoft Office documents (including Supplementary Files) have been saved by going to File and selecting Save As; clicking Tools (or Options in a Mac); clicking Security; selecting "Remove personal information from file properties on save"; clicking Save.
