Non-communicable diseases prevalence still increase all over the world, include Asia. With SPIRIT (Sport and Physical Education as a Vehicle for Inclusion and Recognition in India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka), Erasmus tries to solve this problem by developing an inclusive curriculum that touches every part of the community.Long term effect of Covid-19 lead people to become more inactive. Work from home, school from home enhance sitting time for the child and also adulthood. We can imagine how a non-communicable disease will be difficult to control if we are not considering this situation. That’s why socialization about how important physical activity, sport and nutrition are in combatting NCD's need to be arranged by the International conference of SPIRIT.
This conference will target 500 participants worldwide, presenting state-of-the-art scientific presentations delivered by both well-known international and national speakers, aiming to provide a forum to share the latest research, exchange the newly emerging knowledge, discuss the recent problems and challenges. Furthermore, this international conference will be focusing on sport and nutrition in sport for future development and provide a networking opportunity for clinicians, researchers and experts working in those fields.
Conference Theme: "Long-term effects of the covid 19 pandemics: Preventing non-communicable diseases through increased physical activity and improved nutrition."
