International Health Environment and Technology in Caring Science Conference (IHETCSC) 2018

Grandhika Medan Hotel

September 27, 2018 – September 28, 2018

Climate change affects many aspects of human life, including health, nutrition and mortality.  These factors lead to the high risk of human disease and threaten human health globally.  Changes in temperature and rainfall allow a vast range of viruses and bacterial diseases to grow more widely. The occurrence of a drought resulted in a decrease in the nutritional status of the community due to harvests being disturbed and floods causing widespread diarrheal diseases. At temperatures humans are susceptible to illness such as respiratory diseases. Global warming also causes long-term effects of psychological conflict (stress). In addition, the impact of ozone depletion can increase the intensity of ultraviolet rays and result in the occurrence of skin cancer, cataracts, decreased endurance and growth of genetic mutations. This condition also affects the increase in cardiovascular cases resulting in deaths caused by heart disease and stroke, heart and blood vessel disorders. The purpose of the International Health Environment and Technology in Caring Science Conference is to bring together researcher, lecturer, practitioners, health policy maker, and students interested in health science, health environment and technology and caring in the field of nursing science research. The IHETCSC 2018 program consists of interactive presentation and poster sessions, keynote speaking and social events including networking dinner and post conference tour.
