Before submitting your abstract, kindly sign up and log in to your new account, even if you already have an existing one. All communication and updates regarding abstract submission will be sent exclusively through your account.

The scientific committee of The 4th International Conference on Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases (ICTROMI) Medan 2023 welcomes the submission of your scientific abstracts for Poster Presentation and Oral Presentation.
General Information
- Author must register online as a participant to submit their abstracts.
- Abstracts should be submitted online through the official website of the 4th ICTROMI Medan 2023.
- Abstracts submitted via email will not be accepted.
- All abstracts must be submitted in English and presented in English. It is author’s responsibility to submit the correct abstract. Any errors in spelling, grammar, or scientific fact in the abstract will be reproduced as typed by author.
- Make sure to submit your final abstract. Once submitted, abstracts cannot be modified or corrected.
- All abstracts submitted online will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee.
- Abstracts must be original and has not been previously published or presented at national or international meetings prior to the 4th ICTROMI Medan 2023
- The same person may submit multiple abstracts regardless of presenting author.
- The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
- Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest: Abstract submitters will be required to disclose any conflict of interests in the submission form.
- Abstracts must be received before August 12th 2023. No additional abstract will be accepted afterthe deadline.

Abstract Guidelines
Presenting Author and Co-Author
Please clearly state given name the authors affiliation details (department, institution/hospital, city, country) and email address below the names.
Abstract Title
Abstracts title must be written in uppercase with the exception of transition words, limited to 25 words.
Abstract Text
- All submission must be written in clear and concise english. The abstract is limited to 300 words. Not including title or authors.
- For Original Research, we require a structured abstract consisted of Background , Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
- For Case Report the abstract must include Background, Case, Discussion, and Conclusion.
- Abstract may include images with no character count penalty.
- Use only standard abbreviation. Place special abbreviation in parentheses after the full word appears the first time.
- Generic drug names must be used throughout the abstract.
- Express numbers as numerals. The use of International Systems of Units (SI) are mandatory.
- Selected abstracts will be invited to submit full paper to be published in a Scopus Indexed Journal that will be confirmed later

Submission Preparation Checklist
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- All URL addresses in the text (e.g., http://pkp.sfu.ca) are activated and ready to click.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Conference.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed track of the conference, authors' names are removed from submission, with "Author" and year used in the bibliography and footnotes, instead of authors' name, paper title, etc.
- If submitting to peer review, all Microsoft Office documents (including Supplementary Files) have been saved by going to File and selecting Save As; clicking Tools (or Options in a Mac); clicking Security; selecting "Remove personal information from file properties on save"; clicking Save.
