Welcome to the 10th International Conference on Agriculture, Environment, and Food Security (AEFS) 2026
The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), Indonesia, is honored to welcome scholars, researchers, academics, practitioners, policymakers, students, and professionals from around the world to participate in the 10th International Conference on Agriculture, Environment, and Food Security (AEFS) 2026.
Since its establishment in 2017, AEFS has served as an annual international platform for the exchange of knowledge, research findings, innovative ideas, and best practices in the fields of agriculture, environmental sustainability, and food security. The conference also promotes collaboration and communication among scientists, researchers, resource managers, industry practitioners, government representatives, and stakeholders who share a common interest in addressing global challenges related to agriculture, the environment, and food security.
10th AEFS 2026 THEME
"Synergizing Green Economy and Agro-Innovation to Enhance Food Security and Environmental Sustainability"
This theme emphasizes the importance of integrating green economic principles with agricultural innovation to address contemporary challenges in food security, environmental conservation, and sustainable development. The conference aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and encourage the development of innovative solutions that strengthen agricultural resilience while preserving ecological balance for future generations.
TOPICS OF INTEREST
The conference welcomes original research papers and case studies in, but not limited to, the following areas:
- Plant Science (Agronomy, Plant Breeding, Biotechnology, Integrated Pest Management, and Soil Science)

CONFERENCE PROGRAM
The conference program will consist of two main sessions:
Plenary Session
Distinguished keynote and invited speakers will share their expertise, experiences, and perspectives on emerging trends, challenges, and innovations related to the conference theme.
Parallel Session
Accepted papers will be presented in thematic parallel sessions corresponding to the conference topics of interest. These sessions will provide an interactive forum for scholarly discussion, networking, collaboration, and the exchange of research findings among participants from diverse academic, professional, and geographical backgrounds.
